Creativity is defined as the tendency to generate or recognize ideas, alternatives, or possibilities that may be useful in solving problems, communicating with others, and entertaining ourselves and others. Creativity can be nurtered and fostered within the classroom by allowing students to think outside the box and solve literal or figurative "problems" on their own (or with prompting). It is our job as teachers to draw out the curiosity to explore new things, to think outside the box and to have one's own ideas.
"Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world."
