A Qualifying Life Event (QLE) is an event that triggers a special enrollment window outside of the annual open enrollment period:
A life event is generally a significant change that occurs in your life. Such as:
birth marriage, leave of absence, moving out of state, etc.
You can request a qualifying event directly through your Paycom Employee Self-Service.
Sign on to your Paycom ESS.
Select Benefits and click on Qualifying Events.
Choose "Add a Qualifying Event."
The event date is the date your coverage changed and will be effective (usually the first of the month). Add the qualifying event that best describes your situation.
Click on "Add Qualifying Event" to Submit.
Once you add your qualifying event, HR will review and approve. You will receive a separate notification to prompt you to make changes via Paycom.
This is time sensitive:
We have 30 days from the day of your "event date" to update your plan changes to our carriers. Please monitor any communications from HR or Paycom and complete your changes accordingly.
Questions: Please email benefits@dominican.edu for further assistance.
