Intern Support Team

DOMINICAN

Content Coaches (Single Subject only) - provides support specific to single subject content areas

Credential Analyst - provides oversight, support, coordination and compliance with regard to state requirements

Faculty Advisor - provides support and guidance specific to the subject matter curriculum 

SCHOOL SITE

Administrator – orients intern, serves as a resource, and evaluates through district policies and agreements

Mentor Teacher - provides daily oversight and a minimum of 5 hours per week of Candidate support and guidance; participates in evaluation.

Site-based Supervisor - provides observations and participates in candidate evaluation.  See "form link" below for observation and evaluation information.  

Support Teacher – provides oversight for the General and English Language support hours to the intern (identified and assigned by the administrator)

Intern Approval Process

Candidates who intend to apply for an intern position should meet with their faculty advisor/program director early in the program to discuss the Intern eligibility and requirements and any subject specific requirements that may also be in place.
