Overview

Accessibility and Disability Services (ADS) at Dominican University provides access to academic and co-curricular programs through reasonable accommodations and student-centered support. Our accommodations are designed to meet the unique educational needs of Dominican students with documented disabilities, including physical disabilities, learning & attention disabilities, mental health concerns, sensory disabilities, chronic health illnesses, and mobility disabilties.

ADS is committed to adding value to the Dominican community by fostering an atmosphere of shared responsibility in providing accommodations and promoting an atmosphere of equity, respect, and inclusion. In addition, ADS is available as a resource to faculty, staff, and the DUC community to provide guidance regarding accessibility, inclusion, accommodations, disability, and universal design.

Students who believe they have been discriminated against based upon a disability may choose to file a grievance. Contact accessibility@dominican.edu as soon as possible to start the process.
