Important Info
The Dolores School District follows established procedures for identification of Gifted students as mandated by The Colorado Department of Education (Click) guidelines.
The gifted population should reflect the community population (ethnicity, gender, etc.). Identification is ongoing and a body of evidence, including qualifying data, may be collected at any time during a student's academic career.
In order to be identified as Gifted, at least one state-qualifying piece of data in the 95th percentile will be collected, accompanied by a significant supporting body of evidence. This data will be reviewed by the district identification team.
