The Georgia Teacher/Provider Retention Program (GA-TPRP) is designed to support the Georgia Department of Education in their efforts to improve the retention of new special education teachers through the development and implementation of high-quality mentoring and induction programs. The purpose of this project is to improve the retention of special education teachers andearly intervention providers in Georgia. The project will address retention in Georgia’s Part B and Part C systems to ensure that children with disabilities and their families have teachers and providers with the necessary skills, knowledge, and support to be successful and happy in their positions.
Each GLRS will support the induction program based on the needs of each region.
