External Consultation

School counselors actively seek information from experts external to the school counseling unit, who can help them in supporting student needs.

COUNSELING SERVICES FOR LASALLIAN PARTNERS:

The School Counseling Office in collaboration with Human Resource Management and Organizational Development aims to empower the Lasallian Partners in making critical decisions regarding alternative courses of action in relation to their personal, socio-emotional, and behavioral concerns thereby, helping them attain insights and understanding of themselves, achieve better self-awareness and look at themselves with increased self-acceptance and appreciation. 

In order to achieve this, starting AY 2023-2024, Counseling Services is offered to Lasallian Partners. A Career and Community Counselor is assigned to cater to this need. The primary role of the Counselor is to help the Lasallian partner or the client see the bigger picture, to connect dots between events and feelings that may interfere with or be related to their work as Lasallian Educators.

School counselors refer students and parents to community resources or partner institutions for further assistance beyond what the school counseling program offers.
