Referral System
The School Counseling Office coined the School Aiming for a Friendly Environment (S.A.F.E.) program, which aims to create awareness and educate the school community on the three issues: bullying, fraternities, and addiction. Furthermore, the program intends to achieve the following objectives:
• To educate the school community on the benefits of making the right choices.
• To build positive social relationships.
• To promote awareness of the possible consequences of one’s choice.
• To promote a safe and positive school environment.
Project Happiness aims to promote and heighten compassion for self as well as the Lasallian Leader in Me (LLiM) Habit 7—Sharpen the Saw—through self-compassion, mindfulness, and connectedness. Self-care booths such as arts and crafts, games, and physical wellness are set up to promote and heighten compassion for self and others.
A series of short programs entitled “My Lasallian Journey” for new students is designed to help the students adjust as new members of our school community and encourage openness and strengthen relationships among their peers.
W.A.K. was initiated by the Junior High School counselors and was launched on September 25, 2019. They promoted different acts of kindness to students, teachers, and staff. Some of the objectives of the program are to demonstrate the Lasallian Core Values of being compassionate, to display kindness through kindness missions and to experience the outward and inward effects of showing kindness.
In order to foster a culture of kindness and further strengthen safety within our school community, the School Counseling Office proudly presents awards to recognize students who have demonstrated exemplary behavior and actions. These commendations are bestowed at the conclusion of each academic term. The categories for the awards are as follows:
Exemplary 20 (Given to a class with at least 20 Exemplary Conduct awardees)
Best in Attendance (Given to a class with no Violation Report in Tardiness)
Spark Idol (Given to a student with the highest Conduct grade in the year level)
The Lasallian Hero Campaign aims to do the following:
To encourage self-awareness and positive behaviors in school;
To build harmonious relationship with others;
To analyze consequences of actions and behavior; and
To strengthen Lasallian core values in fighting bullying behaviors.
