The Emerald Stage: A Celebration of 20 Years in Dance, is the first ever collaborative project by the La Salle Dance Companies Contemporary, Folk, and Street. This week-long dance festival will celebrate the 20 years of the La Salle Dance Company through in-campus pocket performances, exhibit, live collaborations with music artists, and will culminate in a grand concert. The Emerald Stage aims to cultivate and showcase the history and meaning of Lasallian dance that expresses the Filipino artistry and culture.

The La Salle Dance Company Exhibit

Venue: The Learning Commons, 5th Floor Henry Sy Building

An exhibit in partnership with the Learning Commons featuring the vibrant history of La Salle Dance Company Folk, Contemporary, and Street. The exhibit will also contain achievements and recognitions of the three dance companies, photos, trophies, and other memorabilia of the company’s legacy will also be on display. Books on Philippine dance and related topics will be made available for the reading pleasure of the guests.

The La Salle Dance Company groups will once again showcase their online productions and introduce each company’s innovation to serve dance through a mini film showing which will highlight the different creative roots of the group.

This film showing will feature four films produced by the La Salle Dance Companies. "Alpas" by the La Salle Dance Company Folk, which won gold at the World Association of Folklore Festivals, "14 days" by the La Salle Dance Company Contemporary, which was the first virtual performance art film produced by a culture and arts group during the COVID-19 pandemic. "Taympers" by the La Salle Dance Company Street, which is the latest film produced by the group based on the 2023 major production of the same name. Last film will be "Taking the Lead: Exploring Dance Leadership in a University Dance Team".

The event will culminate in a talkback session with the directors of the film and special guest experts on dance and film.
