Acogida del alumnado

El mes de junio de 2023 fue muy especial para todos nosotros ya que acogimos en nuestro colegio a un total de 17 alumnos y alumnas procedentes del centro alemán Vogelsbergschule Schotten. Dos de ellos vinieron en movilidad individual de corta duración, por lo que estuvieron con nosotros dos semanas. Los otros quince alumnos fueron acogidos del 12 al 16 de junio. Con todos ellos realizamos diferentes actividades: juegos, rutas turísticas y ecológicas por Monóvar y alrededores, aprendimos lo que es la huella de carbono y cómo podemos compensarla, entrevistamos a ciudadanos del pueblo sobre temas de ecología, trabajos en nuestro huerto escolar con alumnos de primaria, escribimos textos para nuestro periódico del proyecto... Fueron unos días muy divertidos y las actividades que compartimos con todos ellos nos ayudaron a conocerlos mejor, reflexionar sobre el cuidado del medio ambiente, mejorar las lenguas extranjeras que estudiamos en el colegio (alemán e inglés) y hacer amigos europeos. ¡Fue una experiencia que jamás olvidaremos!

The month of June 2023 was very special for all of us since we hosted in our school a group of 17 students from the school Vogelsberschule Schotten in Germany. Two of them came in a short term individual mobility, that's why they were with us for two weeks. The other 15 students were hosted from the 12th to the 16th June. With all of them we developed many different activities: games, touristic and ecological routes in Monóvar and its sorounding places, we learnt what the carbon footprint is and how can we compensate it, we interviewed different local people in Monóvar about ecological topics, we worked in our school garden together with the students in Primary education, we also wrote different texts for our project newspaper... These were very funny days; and the activities we all shared helped us to get to know each other, reflect about the importance of taking care of the environment, better the foreign languages we study in our school (German and English) and, of course, make new European friends. It was an unforgetable experience.
