Amplify CKLA

In the 2024-2025 school year, we adopted a new ELA program called Amplify CKLA.

Lexia

Lexia is a personalized program that fits your child's needs. Students take a Placement Test at the start of the school year. After the Placement, students will start at a level in Lexia that is specific to where they are in their own learning.

Each week students are expected to reach a goal of 16 units on Lexia. Students are given time to work on this during school hours during ELA Centers. It will also be assigned for homework 2 days a week. If this goal is not met before Free Choice Friday, then they will work on it during that time.

Lexia Levels

Kindergarten: Level 1-5

1st Grade: Level 6-9

2nd Grade: Level 10-12

3rd Grade: Level 13-15

4th Grade: Level 16-18

5th Grade: 19-21

Past Level 21: switched to Power Up!
