Your Chance to learn Internationally

I traveled to India with this program. It has been a year long adventure to gain a greater understanding of the concept of global education and how it impacts teaching and more importantly learning. The program is funded by the United States Department of State, Department of Education and Cultural Affairs. All K-12 educators are eligible to apply and the application opens in December. Fulbright Distinguished Awards for Teaching Program

This program is sponsored by the United States Department of State Department of Education and Cultural Affairs and administered by Institute of International Education. It is an opportunity for teachers to learn about global education, and share best teaching practices. There is a long term (3-6month) and a short term (2-6 week) program.

The National Education Association (NEA) is one of the largest teachers unions in the United States. If you are a member of NEA and a K-12 educator, you are able to apply for this grant. The grant provides training and travel experiences to teachers.
