"Six Seven!!"
Over the past several months, how many times have you heard that being shouted out by tweens and teens?! Simply count from 1 to 10, and you'll find that, in unison, they'll burst out with 6-7 before the last bit of 5 leaves your lips! I'll admit--it's both annoying and amusing!
As I approach my third decade as an educator, I reflect on the trends of my earlier years. I even think back to what was cool to say back in the 80s when I was in middle school. Words and phrases like "Bogus! Chill out! Fresh! Gnarly! Rad! and Totally! come to mind; they make me laugh and fondly remember my younger days.
