AP Calculus BC

The concepts taught parallel the material covered in the first two and one-third semesters of engineering calculus. Students will study limits, derivatives, integrals, applications of the derivative and the integral, and sequences and series. Students are required to take the AP calculus exam in May.

Because of the extensive amount of material covered in AP Calculus BC, students must attend the early bird classes. However, because of this added time, students will receive 0.75 credits per semester, instead of 0.5 credits. District 158 does not provide transportation to early bird classes.
