Dual Credit Speech

Course Description

This course explores the theory and practice of oral communication - speaking and listening. The class emphasizes the extemporaneous method of presenting speeches, including the idea development, research and organization that go into preparing a speech. This course continues to emphasize and increase rigor in the progressive development of skills identified the Common Core State Standards for English Language Arts (11-12).
