Summer Reading

Welcome to HHS’s 2025-2026 Summer Reading!

The HHS English Department encourages students to engage in high-interest novels through the 2025 Abraham Lincoln Award Book List, and it is our hope that these titles will promote students’ love of reading!  

Copies of these titles can be reserved at the Huntley Public Library and are readily available for purchase in stores and online. 

Students enrolled in AP Language and Composition and AP Literature and Composition have required reading requirements.  Please see the letter on the right-hand side of this page for the appropriate assignment.
