General MCC Scholarships
Students accepted to McHenry County College are eligible to apply
Students use their MCC-issued username and password to sign in to the scholarship portal at https://mchenry.awardspring.com/
Visit //www.mchenry.edu/scholarships for MCC scholarship information
After the general application is submitted, students can apply to eligible additional MCC scholarships – which require supplemental items – such as recommendations and essays. An “apply” button will appear next to the additional scholarships’ names.
Only additional scholarships that students are eligible to apply for will display – they should apply for as many additional scholarships as they see they are eligible for
If required, recommendation requests will be emailed to the person that the student indicates, by providing their recommender’s email. That person must submit their recommendation through the link provided to the recommender’s email. Please ensure that students have their recommender’s correct email, and that their recommender is aware that this request is being made of them.
After: Students must check their MCC-issued email for notification that they’ve won a scholarship, and they must sign back in to their Scholarship portal to accept their scholarship to receive it.
MCC High Impact Scholarships
Follow the same process outlined above to apply for the High Impact Scholarships
After the general MCC scholarship is submitted, students may apply to all listed High Impact Scholarship for which they are deemed eligible by the system.
Note: There is a NEW High Impact Scholarship available this year! The Follett Educational Foundation: Four Brothers Scholarship which has a cumulative GPA requirement of 2.5. This increases High Impact awards from 9 to 19 in total!
