Diagnostic Medical Sonography, AAS
To start the class sequence for this degree, apply to MCC as a "Pre-Diagnostic Medical Sonography" student. Then, MCC academic advisors will help students plan and complete pre-requisite courses at MCC (this will take an average of two semesters), and meet other admission criteria, before applying into this selective admission program. Once accepted into the program, it takes 2 years to complete. Therefore, the entire sequence will take 3 years to complete, like the AAS Nursing program.
As this webpage was made live very recently, it may still need adjustments. For example, we've noticed that BIO 157 and MAT 165 are currently missing from the pre-requisite requirements on the sample semester pathway - the Enrollment Directors are working to get this added. However, BIO 157 and MAT 165 are properly listed on the DMS program admissions process webpage.
