We will provide a quality education for all students to ensure career, civic, and college success.
TARGET: Students improve spring responses from 55% favorable to 57% favorable on the Panorama SEL self-assessment.
SPRING UPDATE: Each of the 11 buildings reviewed their building data along side the district data from the spring. Building teams selected a few areas to focus on including gather more information to help inform future strategies utilized.
TARGET: 100% of students will approach proficiency for all prioritized standards in each grade level and in each subject.
SPRING UPDATE: Students were able to choose to resume in-person learning at all grade-levels. The middle and high schools offered students the opportunity to get additional support on Wednesdays and after school. Not all standards were taught and assessed this school year due to the pandemic's impacts on instructional time and pace.
TARGET: Decrease chronic absenteeism and disengagement from 11.5% to 9.5%
SPRING UPDATE: Our students transitioned from fully remote, to hybrid in our secondary schools, to fully remote or in-person in all grade levels this year. School teams persisted with their practices of making daily phone calls to families to promote regular attendance each day.
TARGET: Secondary students receiving EL and Special Education services will improve from a 68% on-track rate to 75%
SPRING UPDATE: Directors and staff frequently collaborated regarding students who were failing classes. Support was provided for credit recovery during the second semester. Summer programming has been expanded this summer to support all students in need of opportunities to recover credit.
