Diamond Lake School District 76

Mission Statement

The District 76 Parent Teacher Organization serves three schools – Diamond Lake School, West Oak Intermediate School and West Oak Middle School.  The purpose of the PTO is to support and enrich Diamond Lake District 76 students by creating an active community of families, teachers, and staff through committees, projects and programs.  The PTO will strive to be aware of the needs of the students, the school, and the community and to be of assistance wherever possible.  Simply put, we are here for the students and families in our district.

The PTO is comprised of parent and teacher volunteers who generously give their time to help in the classroom, coordinate and organize programs and fundraisers, lend a helping hand during school or PTO functions. Find out how you can partner with us with your time and talents.

Regular membership is available to all parents and/or legal guardians of students who currently attend Diamond Lake School District 76 and all current faculty and staff.  Working meetings are currently held once a month on Tuesdays from 6-7pm right before BOE meetings.  The first and last meetings of the school year in September and May are larger.  The September meeting is intended for the broader community to see what the PTO does and sign up for various committees. The May meeting is intented for the broader community to hold elections for the following school year.
