Mental health is closely connected to physical health, medications, hormones, chronic illness, and life circumstances. As a Registered Nurse Psychotherapist, I bring over 20 years of healthcare experience to every therapeutic relationship, offering a broader understanding of how emotional and physical wellbeing influence one another.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, depression, burnout, ADHD, addiction, or a major life transition, my nursing background allows me to consider the whole picture while providing evidence-based psychotherapy.

Accessing psychiatric care can often involve long wait times and uncertainty. Through my collaboration with Psychotherapy Matters, clients may have the opportunity to access in-office psychiatric assessments when clinically appropriate.
Following your assessment, I can continue to provide ongoing psychotherapy, symptom monitoring, and support while collaborating with your psychiatrist and other healthcare providers (with your consent). This integrated approach helps ensure continuity of care, clear communication, and treatment recommendations that are supported within your ongoing therapy.
This collaborative model allows clients to receive comprehensive mental health care while maintaining a consistent therapeutic relationship throughout their treatment journey.
My nursing background provides an additional perspective that complements psychotherapy.
This may be particularly helpful for individuals experiencing:
Anxiety or depression alongside physical health concerns
Perimenopause or menopause
ADHD and executive functioning concerns
Burnout and workplace stress
Chronic illness or persistent pain
Medication-related questions
Mental health concerns requiring collaboration with other healthcare providers
When appropriate and with your consent, I work collaboratively with your healthcare team to support continuity of care. This may include communication with your family physician, Nurse Practitioner, psychiatrist, or other healthcare professionals to help ensure your treatment plan is coordinated and aligned with your goals.
Helping you better understand the factors influencing your mental and physical wellbeing while providing integrated, collaborative care that supports informed decisions, continuity of care, and lasting wellness.
