Indian Boarding Schools

                                                                                                  What is your driving question?

Google Media Project: Present adaptations of arguments and explanations on topics of interest to others to reach audiences and venues outside the classroom

You are a researcher and designer of a virtual museum room using any online tool (Jam, Site, Doc, etc).  Decide what a driving question would be to answer for a guest to the museum and use that as your topic.

Part 1:   Create a ‘driving question’

Examples: Why were children forced to go to school?

What remains of boarding schools today?

Who were the students of the boarding schools?

Then, generate a list of resources from which you’ve drawn information. (sites, books, etc)

Part 2: Next, organize your information using a question and answer method to present information from various perspectives.

Part 3:  Design your project using separate pages/sections for each question and the information to relay using links, images, text, or other forms of primary/secondary sources in media.
