Sales Associate (Newton, MA & Belmont, MA)

Job Description:

We are currently seeking Part-Time and Full-Time Store Associates for our Belmont and Newton Lower Falls locations.

Compensation: Competitive hourly pay. Benefits (health insurance, paid vacation) for full-time employees.

Employment type: Full-time or part-time options; Weekend shifts required

Didriks, a premium home furnishings retailer, is seeking design-savvy and personable team members as Part-Time and Full-Time Store Associates for our Belmont and Newton Lower Falls locations. Didriks is looking for someone who is a quick learner, takes initiative, is organized, can work independently, and has the ability to adapt to multiple and changing duties.

This position has a strong potential for growth.

Responsibilities include:

• CUSTOMER SERVICE: Providing excellent customer service in-store and over the phone

• DESIGN & STYLING: Offering design and table styling suggestions to customers

• ORGANIZING: Organizing the store and planning in-store features, events, and promotions

• INVENTORY: Ordering products, maintaining accurate and adequate inventory levels

• SHIPPING: Picking, packing, and labeling customer orders for shipment via UPS

• RECEIVING: receiving product shipments, stickering and stocking product

• OPENING & CLOSING: 2 closing shifts per week required

• Excellent organizational skills

• Ability to "wear many hats" and adapt to multiple changing duties

• Ability to work with computerized inventory management systems

• Self-motivated and able to work independently, as well as collaborate in a team

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Ability to lift up to 75lbs
