The most visited places in Brazil last year by users of our platform were Copacabana Beach (RJ), Ibirapuera Park (SP), Paulista Avenue (SP), and Pelourinho (BA). The results are part of a study conducted by DiDi in Brazil and 12 other countries.
In Latin America, the countries with the most popular destinations for 99 customers were Argentina, Chile, and Mexico.
Meanwhile, the highest number of trips in Brazil taken by foreign visitors came from the U.S. and Canada, which share the top spot on the list. They are followed by Malaysia and Argentina.
International tourists ranked Rio de Janeiro as the most visited destination. São Paulo comes in second place, followed by Florianópolis.
Another interesting finding from the study: with 50 million users on the 99 platform, the most frequent trips occur on Fridays, followed by Saturdays. Mondays were the calmest days in 2023.
