The ICT Industry Development Bureau (IIDB) of the Department of Information and Communications Technology is responsible for developing and implementing policies, programs, and initiatives that promote the growth, competitiveness, and sustainability of the Philippine ICT industry. It leads efforts to strengthen key sectors such as IT-BPM, digital services, software development, startups, and emerging technologies by creating an enabling environment for innovation and investment.
The Bureau coordinates with government agencies, private sector partners, industry associations, and academic institutions to support industry expansion, investment promotion, technology adoption, and workforce capability development, ensuring that the ICT sector contributes significantly to national economic growth and digital transformation.

FUNCTIONS
