The welcoming entrance of the DICT office, featuring a clean and modern facade with clear signage and a secure, organized gate, inviting visitors to come and explore the various digital services and support offered to the community.
The office is designed to efficiently accommodate both staff and visitors. It features a front desk area with sufficient space to comfortably welcome and assist up to five clients at a time, ensuring smooth and organized transactions.
A narrow yet functional training area is available, capable of accommodating up to fifteen participants while maintaining comfort and order. The office also includes a clean and accessible comfort room for convenience.

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) conducts various trainings designed to enhance digital skills, promote responsible use of technology, and empower individuals with essential ICT knowledge.
BASIC ROBOTICS TRAINING
an interactive learning program that introduces participants to the fundamentals of robotics, including simple coding, electronics, and hands-on robot building to develop creativity and problem-solving skills.
MINECRAFT EDUCATION TRAINING
an engaging program that uses Minecraft: Education Edition to teach creativity, collaboration, and critical thinking through interactive, game-based learning activities.
ARDUINO AND BASIC ELECTRONIC TRAINING
a hands-on program that teaches participants the fundamentals of circuits, sensors, and microcontroller programming, empowering them to build simple electronic projects and innovative tech solutions.
CYBERSECURITY TRAINING
a practical program that equips participants with essential knowledge and skills to protect digital information, identify online threats, and practice safe and responsible internet use.
Secretary's Corner
Secretary Henry R. Aguda, head of the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), brings over 35 years of expertise in telecommunications, digital transformation, and financial inclusion. Appointed in March 2025, he champions a bold vision for a digitally empowered Philippines through “Digital Bayanihan,” anchored on four pillars: Digital-First Economy, Inclusive Tech for All, Cybersecurity and Data Privacy, and Transparency in Governance. Prior to his appointment, he led groundbreaking digital initiatives in both the private and public sectors, including innovations in fintech, neo-banking, and e-governance. A recognized thought leader and educator, Sec. Aguda continues to advocate for a secure, inclusive, and future-ready digital nation.
Regional Director's Corner
Cheryl C. Ortega is the Regional Director for the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in Region IX and BASULTA (Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi) in the Philippines, taking office in July 2024. She advocates for people-centered digitalization, supporting local gig workers, enhancing ICT industries, and improving connectivity through initiatives like Free Wi-Fi.
Provincial Officer's Corner
Aileen G. Padao is the Provincial Officer for the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) in Zamboanga del Norte, based in Dipolog City. She leads initiatives on digital skills training, free Wi-Fi, and e-Governance, frequently collaborating with local government units (LGUs).
