We perceive that supplying you with the guidance & the supportive steps you require, entails your transition to the bussing industry and commercial driving world. The lessons and knowledge received to complete your training will surpass your expectations. Your determination and  confidence will give you the willingness to flourish in whichever bussing or trucking industry you decide for your success.

The Class A Training Curriculum

defined in C.F.R. Appendix C to Part 380 as it existed on the

(effective date of the WAC). 

80 total hours, including at least:

• 40 hours - of classroom instruction

• 14 hours - of street driving training

• 8 hours - of training in backing maneuvers

• 8 hours - proficiency development

• 10 hours - combined lab training, range training, and observation

• Vehicles carrying 16 or more people including the driver.*

• Vehicles carrying hazardous materials.*

• Examples of Class C CDL vehicles:

passenger vans, small trucks towing trailers, small trucks equipped to carry hazmat.

• 4 hours - of classroom instruction

• 10 hours - of proficiency development

30 total hours, including at least:

• 20 hours - of classroom instruction

• 10 hours - of proficiency development
