Our experienced driving instructors are well-educated and are dedicated to expressing, teaching, guiding and showing our students what it takes to pass and receive the Washington State (CDL) Commercial Driver's License. When you have completed our catered 6 week training program, you should be a capable, safety-conscious, confident and able to start working in the trucking industry as a local, intrastate or interstate driver.
You will be learning the required skills in small groups to drive a manual and automatic tractor-trailer to navigate in city traffic, on the highway, onto overpasses, in the mountains travelling up and down grades and countryside curvy roads. Also, establishing the defensive driving skills needed to safely operate your commercial vehicle in rain, sleet, ice, snow and windy conditions.
In addition to the "One-on-One hands-on Training," you will be learning the necessary lessons for receiving your CDL... map reading, given life saving tips, hour calculations, weight scales compliance and weighing your load.
