In 2026, the North Carolina Council on Developmental Disabilities (NCCDD) funded and supported the creation of an ALP Alumni Network. This network is shaped directly by the insights, hopes, and priorities that ALP-NC alumni share. The Alumni Network is built on a four-part framework:
A team of part-time staff dedicated to managing resources, education, and communication.
A central portal for educational materials, resource sharing, and an advocate story library.
A series of live webinars, recorded for ongoing access, to expand upon leadership skills.
Regular virtual meetings and in-person events to foster connection and collaboration among alumni.
