We are the Springhurst Student Support Team
School Counselors, School Social Workers and School Psychologists have overlapping but distinct roles when supporting students with social, emotional and behavioral health. Our common goal is to assist students, parents and teachers in their ability to provide safe and effective home and school environments that improve educational outcomes of all students.
Working together and effectively, Student Support Staff help to improve wellness in youth, increase access to instruction, explore positive and restorative discipline strategies and reduce identification for special education through prevention and early intervention.
