Who is this competition for?

This competition is designed for schools seeking opportunities to engage their students in shaping a desirable and sustainable world. It welcomes participants from primary, secondary, junior college, and tertiary levels, including CCA clubs such as innovation clubs, green/environmental clubs, science clubs, and student teams involved in VIA/Service Learning/Leadership/Eco/Project Work.


How much is the DFC Challenge Fee?

The DFC Challenge Fee is S$5,900 net. 


What does the DFC Challenge Fee cover?

The fee covers participation for up to 40 students from your school, including 10-hour Design Thinking program, access to DFC resources, real-world exposure programs, pitching day with judges, and celebration day.


Can I register more than 40 students to participate?

Yes, you can register more than 40 students to participate. Please note that additional registrations will incur an extra fee.  You can register twice, indicating Team 1 and Team 2 in the registration form.


What happens if my students missed the expert sharing session?

If students miss the expert sharing session, they can still access resources and recorded sharing session provided by Design for Change. 


What are the judging criteria for the Design for Change Challenge?

The judging criteria emphasize the design and ideation of the solution, focusing on inventiveness, scalability, feasibility, depth of impact, effective presentation skills, and group work.


Who are the experts involved in the competition?

Design for Change collaborates with a diverse range of industry leaders, professionals, and stakeholders who bring expertise in various fields relevant to the problem statements. These experts provide guidance and feedback throughout the competition journey. 


What is the registration deadline?
