Dale Bagtas is a multi-decorated artist who has won 2nd Place in “Lorenzo il Magnifico” Visitors Award and 4th Prize in “Lorenzo il Magnifico” Mixed Media Category in the prestigious International Art Competition, the XIV Florence Biennale 2023 at the Fortezza da Basso Florence, Italy. He has also won the Grand distinction to two of the Philippines most prestigious art awards: the Metrobank Art and Design Excellence Competition (Acrylic and Oil Category, 2021) and the GSIS Art Competition (Non-Representational Category, 2019). He was a recipient of Gintong Kabataan Award for Visual Arts 2023 and Kislap ng Sining ng Bulacan 2024 held at The Pavilion and Tanghalang Nicanor Abelardo, Hiyas ng Bulacan in the City of Malolos.

Having participated in hundreds of group exhibitions and solo shows in the Philippines, Bagtas has also showcased his works in Europe and Asia. His recent exhibitions were “As The Intricate Key Turns: Works from an Archipelago”, Yod Gallery ,Osaka Japan, 2024, Viaje 2 “What Makes Art Filipino” held in Milan, Berlin, Essen, Brussels: Art Shopping Paris-Carrousel Du Louvre in Paris, France and Rome Art Expo Edition 2023 Autumn Edition in Rome, Italy. He was a recipient of International Prize Donatello Award in January, 2023 at Borghese Palace, Florence Italy; International Prize Leonardo Da Vinci Award in April, 2023 at the National Museum of Science and Technology Leonardo da Vinci in Milan Italy; International Prize Pegasus for the Arts and Top Artists: The Protagonist of Contemporary Art in May, 2023 at Scuola Grande Di San Teodoro Venice, Italy; International Prize Michaelangelo in July 2023 at Teatro Italia Rome, Italy; International Career Art Prize Award in Teatro del Casino Sanremo, Italy; International Prize Botticelli in Jan. 20, 2024 at Borghese Palace Florence, Italy. These were prestigious awards given to artists who stood out for their artistic and stylish research.

Dale is an active member of Kunst Filipino- Kapatiran at Ugnayan ng Natatanging Sining at Talentong Filipino which was given Presidential Awards for Filipino Individual and Organization Overseas (Banaag) in 2021.
