The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) Special Projects Unit (SPU), under the Office of the Secretary, was created to administer and coordinate the projects of the Overall Chairperson. It manages the protocolar, administrative, and logistical requirements for the projects, outreach programs, speaking engagements and other related activities Overall Chairperson.
The Unit serves as the secretariat of three foundations:
DFA Ladies’ Foundation, Inc. (DFALF)
International Bazaar Foundation, Inc. (IBF)
ASEAN Ladies Foundation, Inc. (ALF)
STAFF COMPLEMENT

Pursuant to the Department’s Office Order the following DFA personnel are assigned to the Special Projects Unit, Office of the Secretary.
Rose Paz N. Cornista , Overall Coordinator and IBF Focal Point
Jill C. Del Rosario-Gardose , ALF Focal Point
Jeremie M. Obra , DFALF Focal Point
They draw their salary from the DFA and are covered by Civil Service rules and regulations.
International Bazaar Foundation, Inc. (IBF)
The following are the personnel of the IBF Secretariat:
Nora C. Salazar , Executive Director
Daisy R. Villaran , Communication Assistant and Layout Artist
Rose Margaret Madrio , Executive Assistant
They were appointed by the IBF and draw their salary/other emoluments from IBF.
