Virtual Circulation Help Desk - “Ask the Librarian”
We are available to answer questions concerning Destiny access, learning apps such as Schoology, Google (GAFE) apps, and educational electronic resources. In addition, we provide tech tips for students and teachers.
Digital Learning Commons - Our online library Google Classroom has links to virtual activities including virtual escape rooms, podcasts, virtual field trips and read alouds by staff and friends of the library.
Virtual Book Talks - Keep up to date on great titles! Join us for a weekly 10-minute book talk on all genres of great new books for ALL readers. Get involved in the conversation by sharing your favorites every Tuesday at 10:00. See our Secondary Google Classroom for Zoom information.
Library Monthly Newsletter - Stay up-to-date on library news, valuable digital resources, tech help tips and information relevant to DeISD's Virtual Learning Commons.
Reference Support - There is a lot of misinformation out there. We help our patrons by locating and providing the most updated, reliable resources.
Books! Books! And More Books! - We are still a book provider! We can still provide online resources for patrons. We have eBooks, audiobooks, and interactive books available through our online catalog, Destiny.
Our online library is available in Google Classroom and provides access to our Virtual Helpdesk, Library Newsletter, Destiny Circulation System (access to eBooks, audiobooks and interactive resources), read alouds, and Zoom link for booktalks.
