What is ParentVue?
ParentVue is a way for parents to check their student's assignments and grades.
For parents of middle school students, it is very important to stay current on the progress of your student. Monitoring grades and assignments will help keep your student accountable.
Middle school is the foundational stepping stone to high school and beyond. Organizational skills and time management are important skills to learn.
Unlike elementary school, in middle school, you recieve grades such as an A, B, C, D, or F. These grades then translate to a Grade Point Average, also known as "GPA". It is important in middle school to keep a C or better in core classes such as math, science, language arts, and social studies.
It is important that parents and students do not wait until the end of the quarter to address questions and conerns regarding a class. Communication with each teacher of your student is critical in middle school. You can find your student's teacher information via ParentVue.
Students, middle school is a great opportunity to learn how to advocate for yourself! It is important to communicate with your teachers so that they can better understand what you need help with! If you have a missing assignment, it is best to conact your teacher directly to see how you can make up missing work or bring up a grade.
