Attendance Practices
Elementary School Attendance Procedures:
Attendance will be taken daily by the classroom teacher each day by 9:15 a.m. for the previous day. Attendance calls will be made to absent student homes each day by members of the attendance team, however teachers should still be attempting to communicate via email or Google Classroom to engage students.
In order to be considered present for a day, a student must complete at least 50% or more of his/her assignments. If a student is not completing more than 50% or more of his/her assignments, the student will be marked absent for the previous day.
If a student is consistently not meeting the daily expectations, please continue to reach out to the student and family to provide support. Make sure to log all parent contact in Powerschool. The attendance team will also be monitoring attendance on a daily basis.
Middle School Attendance Procedures:

High School Attendance Procedures:
During the distance learning period, daily student attendance will be taken using Google classroom. Attendance specific classrooms have been created for each grade level.
