“Leaders come and go.”

Carlos P. Garcia High School conducted a Turnover Ceremony last July 26, 2021. Unlike other grand and festive turnover, the celebration was very simple yet memorable and meaningful. The outgoing principal, Dr. Marivic B. Francisco passed the key of responsibility to the new principal, Dr. Reynaldo Casing. In his acceptance message, he emphasized respect and cooperation, which is indeed very important in achieving goals, increasing productivity and having good working environment.

Dr. Reynaldo Casing graduated Bachelor of Secondary Education Major in Mathematics at The National Teachers College (Manila). He took his Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics at Philippine Normal University (Manila) and Master of Arts in Education major in Educational Administration at University of the Philippines (Diliman). He finished his Doctor of Philosophy in Education major in Educational Administration at University of the Philippines (Diliman)

Dr. Reynaldo Casing is a man of action and believes in destiny. Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.” was his guiding principle. Thus, receiving numerous awards and having served in different positions really showed action and prayer (Ora et Labora). He was a classroom mathematics teacher of Novaliches High School for almost 20 years, Head Teacher in Mathematics at Jose P. Laurel Sr. High School for almost 3 years, Assistant Principal II (SHS) at Carlos P. Romulo for almost 2 years, and Principal I (Secondary) at Carlos P. Romulo SHS for almost 2 years. He also received awards like Outstanding Mathematics Teacher (Division Level), Outstanding Mathematics Head Teacher (Division Level) and Basic Education Research Fund (BERF) Grantee.

According to him, being a principal, he practiced mixed of traditional and out-of-the-box leadership style. And as a new administrator, he is hoping to have concerted effort in maintaining if not exceeding the performance of the school in terms of awards received which symbolizes excellence in governance.

Together with the new administration, let us look forward for the best of Carlos P. Garcia High School. Let us work hand in hand in achieving our goals for the School Year 2021-2022 and for more years ahead.
