Research Congress
Local Minds and Global Science: SINHS Host Research Congress with Dr. Pratik Mungekar
San Isidro National High School recently achieved a significant academic milestone by hosting a Research Congress that served as the culminating activity for the Senior High School subject, Inquiries, Investigation, and Immersion. The event was distinguished by the presence of Dr. Pratik R. Mungekar, a renowned Scientist, Professor, Counsellor, Global Educator, Published Author, and International Speaker, whose participation brought a world-class perspective to the local academic setting.
As students presented and defended their hard-earned data and methodologies, Dr. Mungekar’s insights bridged the gap between theoretical classroom concepts and real-world scientific application. His multifaceted expertise not only validated the students' rigorous work in the "3 Is" but also inspired them to view their research as a vital contribution to societal knowledge. This convergence of local student potential and global expertise successfully fostered a deeper culture of critical thinking and innovation within the SINHS community, proving that geographical boundaries are no obstacle to accessing high-quality education and mentorship.
WORK IMMERSION
Bridging Theory and Practice: Senior High School Work Immersion in Pampanga’s Hospitality Sector
The Work Immersion program stands as a pivotal milestone for graduating Senior High School students, serving as the critical bridge that connects classroom theories to the rigors of the professional world. This academic year, students were deployed to premier hospitality establishments in Pampanga—specifically The Redd Manor, Otel Pampanga, Orotel, and Green Manor—to fulfill their requisite 80-hour training. These venues provided a diverse training ground, ranging from the fast-paced, high-turnover operations of Orotel and Otel Pampanga to the more specialized guest management required at The Redd Manor and Green Manor. By stepping out of the school and into these real-world environments, students were able to translate their textbook knowledge of housekeeping, front office operations, and customer service into tangible skills, learning to navigate the high standards and pressures of the actual hospitality industry.
Beyond the acquisition of technical competencies, this immersion experience proved essential in shaping the students' work ethic and professional character. Under the mentorship of industry experts at these establishments, the students learned the value of punctuality, teamwork, and resilience—soft skills that are indispensable for their future careers. The partnership between the school and these local businesses not only ensures that the students meet the requirements for graduation but also guarantees that they leave Senior High School as workforce-ready individuals, fully equipped to contribute to the thriving tourism and hospitality sector of the region.
Young Tycoons in the Making: Grade 12 Trade Fair Sparks Entrepreneurial Spirit

Throughout the event, the young entrepreneurs demonstrated sharp business acumen, managing real-time cash flows and making critical decisions on how to reinvest their daily profits to sustain inventory and grow their operations. This immersive experience not only tested their marketing and customer service skills but effectively instilled the value of financial literacy, proving that these students possess the capability to generate their own income and navigate the economic realities awaiting them after graduation.
Innovators of Tomorrow: STEM Students Unveil Capstone Projects
San Isidro National High School witnessed a remarkable display of ingenuity and technical prowess as Grade 12 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) students showcased their Capstone Projects. This event served as the definitive culmination of their academic track, challenging the students to synthesize complex scientific theories and engineering principles into tangible, working solutions. From mechanical prototypes designed to improve local efficiency to sustainable environmental innovations, the exhibits highlighted the students' capacity to identify pressing community problems and engineer practical, data-driven responses. As they defended their outputs against rigorous inquiry, the STEM seniors demonstrated not only their technical competency but also the critical thinking and collaborative skills necessary for future careers in science and engineering, solidifying the school’s reputation as a breeding ground for the next generation of innovators.
