About San Isidro National High School

San Isidro National High School (SINHS) continues to uphold its commitment to quality education and good governance by serving its learners and stakeholders with dedication and excellence. Guided by the Department of Education’s vision, mission, and core values, the school ensures that every learner has access to quality, equitable, culture-based, and inclusive education. As a learning institution, SINHS strives to be an agent of transformation— promoting lifelong learning and community development through relevant, responsive, and sustainable educational programs.

Established in 1983, San Isidro National High School stands as one of the pioneering public secondary schools in the Municipality of Bacolor, Pampanga. It is strategically located in Barangay San Isidro, approximately seven (7) kilometers from the town proper, east of Bacolor Main, and west of the City of San Fernando. The school’s one-hectare campus, covered by its own Transfer Certificate of Title (TCT), was generously donated by Doña Raquel G. De Leon, whose contribution paved the way for generations of learners to access education within their own community.

At present, SINHS serves a total of 471 students supported by 28 competent and dedicated teaching personnel, making it a medium-sized secondary school. The school offers the General Academic Strand (GAS), Accountancy, Business and Management (ABM), Science and Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) and Humanities, Social Sciences (HUMSS) strand under the Senior High School program, in compliance with the K to 12 Basic Education Curriculum. It caters to learners not only from Barangay San Isidro but also from neighboring barangays such as Magliman, Macabacle, and Banlic-Cabalantian, proving its vital role as an accessible educational hub in the area.

Anchored on the School-Based Management (SBM) framework, San Isidro National High School operates with shared accountability and participatory leadership. The school continuously promotes collaboration among administrators, teachers, students, parents, and community partners to achieve its goals and ensure efficient implementation of programs and projects. The school’s governance structure ensures transparency, inclusivity, and datadriven decision-making—essential foundations in the crafting of the Quality School Improvement Plan (QSIP).

In line with its mission to provide safe and conducive learning environments, the school maintains its physical facilities through active coordination with local government offices and other stakeholders. Periodic inspections, maintenance activities, and infrastructure improvements are undertaken to ensure compliance with safety standards and DepEd guidelines. These efforts align with DepEd Order No. 37, s. 2010, emphasizing school building inventory and maintenance as a key component of ensuring learner welfare and school readiness.

Academically, SINHS continues to uphold excellence through effective curriculum delivery and learner-centered instruction. Teachers participate in continuous professional development aligned with the Philippine Professional Standards for Teachers (PPST) to enhance their pedagogical and content knowledge. Classroom instruction integrates differentiated learning strategies, digital literacy, and contextualized approaches to ensure that learners develop 21st-century skills essential for future academic and career success.

Learner development remains a central focus of the school’s initiatives. San Isidro National High School provides holistic opportunities for students to grow not only academically but also in values formation, leadership, and social responsibility. Participation in academic and co-curricular competitions has strengthened students’ confidence, discipline, and commitment to excellence. The school’s learner support programs—including remedial classes, reading interventions, and guidance services—are continuously enhanced to address diverse learning needs.

Community partnership and stakeholder engagement form an integral part of SINHS’s continuous improvement. The school has established active collaborations with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Bacolor, the ParentsTeachers Association (PTA), the Barangay Council, and other community-based organizations. These partnerships have greatly contributed to resource mobilization, school beautification, disaster preparedness, and learner welfare programs—strengthening the community’s shared responsibility in education.

As the school embraces the continuing challenges of the K to 12 Program, it remains proactive in implementing DepEd’s flagship projects and reforms. With the support of higher offices, the school aligns its programs with the Basic Education Development Plan (BEDP) 2030, ensuring that every intervention is evidence-based, learner-centered, and outcome-oriented. Teachers, administrators, and stakeholders work hand in hand to achieve the school’s performance targets in access, quality, and governance indicators.

Now in its 42nd year of dedicated service, San Isidro National High School stands as a symbol of resilience and progress. The combined efforts of its teachers, school leaders, parents, and community partners continue to drive improvement in learner achievement and institutional performance. As the school moves forward in crafting and implementing its Quality School Improvement Plan, it envisions a future where every Isidrian becomes an empowered, value-driven, and productive citizen—ready to contribute meaningfully to society and to the nation’s sustainable development.
