School Canteen Food and Beverage Categories...
Includes foods and drinks that should ALWAYS be available in the canteen.
Contain a wide range of nutrients and are generally LOW in saturated fat, sugar and salt.
Saturated Fat is less than 3 grams (approx. more than half a teaspoon of fat) per serving
NO Trans fat
Added sugar is less than 10 grams (2 teaspoons) per serving
Sodium is less than 120 mg (300 mg of salt or 1/20 teaspoons salt) per serving

Should be served CAREFULLY and served ONCE or TWICE A WEEK only, in smaller servings, and should be less prominent in the canteen menu.
Contain some nutrients but also contain LARGE amount of saturated or trans fat, sugar and salt.
If eaten in large amounts, these may contribute to excess calories.

No Trans fat
Added sugar is more than 10 grams but less than 20 grams (2 teaspoons) per serving
