DOH MEMO No. 2025-0318:
"Revised Guidelines on the Implementation of School-based Immunization"
The SBI thru DOH in collaboration with DepEd, aims to protect school-aged children against vaccine-preventable diseases (VPDs).
Since its inception in 2013, the SBI has been conducted annually every August in public schools nationwide, until it was suspended due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2024, the program was resumed as part of broader initiatives to improve student health.
