The Social Mobilization and Networking (SMN) Section plays a key role in strengthening the Schools Division Office’s linkages with stakeholders. It mobilizes community support, builds partnerships, and facilitates resource generation to ensure that schools receive the necessary assistance in creating inclusive and supportive learning environments.
As part of the School Governance and Operations Division (SGOD), the SMN Section serves as the division’s bridge to communities, partners, and education advocates. It promotes collaboration and shared responsibility in sustaining DepEd programs and initiatives.
Strengthening Partnerships – building relationships with LGUs, NGOs, CSOs, and private partners.
Resource Mobilization – generating support for school facilities, supplies, programs, and projects.
Advocacy Campaigns – promoting education initiatives and raising community awareness.
Stakeholder Engagement – ensuring participation of parents, alumni, and local partners in school activities.
Adopt-a-School Program – partnerships for facilities, learning resources, and training support.
Brigada Eskwela – annual school maintenance and resource mobilization activity.
Partnership Appreciation & Recognition – acknowledging partners for their contributions.
Community-Based Advocacy Campaigns – education, health, environment, and child protection.
