Project APCLAS and the Academic Achievement in Araling Panlipunan among Grade 10 Students at San Mariano National High School

ABSTRACT


Learning Activity Sheets) in enhancing the understanding of globalization effects among Grade 10 students at San Mariano National High School during the 2022-2023 school year. Employing a quasi-experimental research design, 90 Grade 10 pupils were evenly distributed into control and experimental groups. Project APCLAS served as the intervention in the study, and statistical measures including mean, standard deviation, Wilcoxon Signed Rank test, and Mann-Whitney U-Test, were applied to evaluate its effectiveness. The results indicated a notable improvement in learning competency and scores, transitioning from low mastery to mastery level, with a significant difference observed between pretest and posttest scores.
