Gilbert M. Quezada, Teacher III, Andabuen National High School
ABSTRACT
The study evaluates the effect of Project EPSSA (Enhanced Process Skills through Science Activities) on Grade 8 learners’ performance in Ohm’s law at Andabuen National High School, SY. 2020-2021. It utilized the Quasi-experimental pretest/post-test control group design where thirty-five (35) students were grouped as the control, another thirty-five (35) students as experimental. The participants were purposely selected from the two sections with online learning capability. Results revealed that there was a significant difference between the gain scores of the control and experimental group of participants with a large effect (d=1.317) according to Cohen’s guidelines. Based on the drawn results, it is recommended that Project EPSSA should be enhanced and tested further in face-to-face classes.
