2018 School Mental Health Program, Projects and Activities 

OPLAN KALUSUGAN SA DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION (OK SA DEPED) DIVISION CELEBRATION OF THE NATIONAL MENTAL HEALTH MONTH

The Schools Division Office of Cabuyao in leadership of the School Governance and Operations Division and School Health Section conducted the Division Launching of Oplan Kalusugan sa Department of Education “OK sa DepEd” Division Celebration of the National Mental Health Month . This is in pursuance to Pursuant to DepEd order no. 148, s. 2018 or the Observance of the National Mental health Week and the World Mental health Day; and Presidential proclamation number 452 s. of 1994 or the Declaration of the Second week of October of every year as National Mental Health Week.

The said activity was attended primarily by the Schools Heads and principals, Master Teachers, Faculty Presidents, Ok sa DepEd Focals and newly hired teachers who are two years in service below.  The opening of the program commenced at the Gabaldon Hall of Cabuyo Central School whose Master of Ceremony is Dr. Angela Mapola, Division Dentist. It was attended by Mr. Reynaldo A. Talavera, Public Schools District Supervisor and SGOD Chief, Dr. Jose Charlie S. Aloquin.  

The guest speaker of the said event is Ms. Noralle A. Collado, a Registered Psychologist.  She gave discussions on the important topics of stress managements, depression, suicides and other relevant topics from mental health addressing the mental Health needs of the teachers.
