The DepEd-Dasmarinas has launched and extended its very own Numeracy Intervention Program (NIP) entitled M.A.T.H iS F.U.N to Junior High School level which began since the school year 2016-2017. The said program aims to improve the numeracy level of non-numerate students; develop mathematics exercises that focus on three phases: number values, number operations and number applications; and improve the performance of the non-numerate students in the post-test.

As per record, 14% or 2 out of 14 non-numerates from Grade 7 are dropouts and 86% or 12 of them are under of Phase I: Number Values and 15% or 2 out of 13 non-numerates from Grade 8 are dropouts, 15% or 2 students are retained, and 70% or 9 of them are also still under of Phase 1.
