The dropout rate is gradually increasing since SY 2015 up to the present. The target is to zero out this figure so as to achieve inclusiveness of its programs as one of the important considerations of this SIP.
Beginning SY 2019-2020, the school has adapted a mechanism that would reduce the number of dropouts. A verbal warning shall be given to students who incurred 3 absences. For 4-5 absences, a written offense will be student to student for parent/guardian conference. In case a parent/guardian does not respond to the issued call slip, the adviser shall seek the help of the barangay LGU to assist in locating the residence of the concerned learner and request the parent/guardian to attend the meeting in school.
A second conference will be called by the adviser, through a written notice of meeting to the parents of the learners who incurred 6 to 8 absences. A home visitation will be conducted for 9 absences of the learner/s. A home visitation form duly signed by the guidance office will be used by the adviser. The final dropping of a student is done only after a thorough deliberation and the last person to decide will be the guidance counsellor with the approval of the school head.
