Amidst the high-stakes competitions and cultural exhibitions, the Learner Rights and Protection Office (LRPO) maintained a vigilant presence through the strategic establishment of the Learner Rights and Protection (LRP) Desk.
Designed as a frontline safeguard, the LRP Desk served as a dedicated sanctuary for student-participants across all contest venues and billeting quarters. By strictly implementing the "4Rs" protocol—Recognize, Record, Report, and Refer—the office ensured that any concerns regarding bullying, discrimination, or distress were addressed with immediate intervention. The initiative underscored the Department of Education's commitment to a "Zero Tolerance" policy against abuse, providing not only a reporting mechanism but also psychological first aid to learners navigating the pressures of regional competition.

PANABO CITY — To ensure the safety and welfare of graduating students entering the workforce, a dedicated Learner Rights and Protection (LRP) Desk was officially established during the One-Stop Shop for SHS-TVL Graduates and Jobs Fair held at the Panabo Multipurpose Tourism and Cultural Center Gymnasium on March 13, 2026.
The initiative aims to promote the overall welfare of first-time job seekers from the Senior High School-Technical Vocational Livelihood (SHS-TVL) track. By placing the LRP Desk at the heart of the recruitment hub, organizers sought to ensure a secure and supportive environment for graduates, reinforcing the commitment to learner safety as they transition from the classroom to the professional world.
As part of the advocacy, 200 sets of Information, Education, and Communication (IEC) materials were distributed to the graduates, providing them with essential guides on safety and protection. Adding to the event's visibility, the LRP Mascot made a special appearance, engaging with the youth to further promote the mission of the Learner Rights and Protection office.
