The exquisite beauty of the sceneries, like that of the famous Lakay-Lakay, delicately extending to its remotest barangay to keep abreast with the rapidly changing demands of modern times attracts tourists and visitors to come and visit Claveria and bring home satisfaction not only on its growth and progress but the hospitality of the people as well.
The Claveria Rural and Vocational School has been tagged as an emergency of learning process. It is the school that directs its clientele in their meaningful destinies, hence it brings about the desired changes that will truly improve the quality of life of the rural people.
The Claveria Rural and Vocational School is located at the Northwestern part of Cagayan. It is located at Dibalio, Claveria, Cagayan and is approximately 1.5 kilometers away from the town. It has a total land area of 47 hectares.
The school was recognized by the government through Republic Act No. 3558 under the sponsorship of Hon. Benjamin T. Ligot, the then Congressman of the 2nd District of Cagayan. It was approved by the Congress of the Philippines on June 21, 1963.
On August 28, 1972, classes were formally opened with forty-five (45) students and two female teachers to handle them. In its first year of operation, the school occupied the Boy Scout Headquarters of the Claveria Central School in October 1972. Later, it was transferred to its permanent campus of Dibalio, Claveria, Cagayan on a rolling terrain.
Despite the limited resources of the school, the momentum of the instruction and activities has been on the right direction. Students and personnel have done their best that goals and objectives of the school has been properly laid up and pursued to a very satisfactory level.
