The Values Education/EsP Department of Calatagan National High School implemented the Retrospect Batang Batang Batangueño (RBB). The general objective of this project is to build a value-oriented education culture through the inculcation of target values in every task of the learners, to develop a sense of practice of good deeds among learners, and to demonstrate values with the help and guidance of their teachers and parents.

The Retrospect Batang Batangueño (RBB) activities from the first to the fourth quarter were successfully implemented, focusing on the development of core values such as pagiging Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa. Throughout the school year, students actively participated in various tasks and reflective activities that enhanced their understanding and application of these values in real-life situations. Selected student outputs, including reflection papers, creative presentations, and performance-based tasks, showcased their personal growth and deepened sense of responsibility. These outputs highlighted the learners’ ability to internalize values and demonstrate positive behavior both inside and outside the classroom. Overall, the RBB activities contributed significantly to the holistic development of the students.
BATANG MATATAG
As part of the implementation of RBB (Retrospect Batang Batangueño) program, Calatagan National High School launched the Batang Matatag award to honor students who excel not only in academics but also in character. They stand out for their excellence performance in academic, admirable values, and active participation. They are the true role models who inspire other students to live with integrity and compassion.
